Nurture Project International is now recruiting for an Infant Feeding Team Lead in Thessaloniki, Greece. This person must be a gentle yet strong leader, must be flexible, must work well in crisis situations, and must be a clear, direct, and respectful communicator.
The Infant Feeding Team Lead will be the resident lead on infant feeding for NPI teams in Thessaloniki, Greece. She will lead a team of midwives and lactation consultants as they volunteer in the NPI mother and baby spaces in refugee camps on the island of Chios. The Team Lead will lead the team in assessments of mothers and will develop and follow-through with care plans. The Infant Feeding Team Lead will work alongside the Thessaloniki Site Coordinator and the Volunteer Coordinator to run the day to day activities in the NPI mother and baby spaces.
Position available immediately. Infant Feeding Team Lead must be able to stay for at least six weeks.

Required qualifications and experience: Qualification and training in breastfeeding, infant nutrition, or public health nutrition, experience in breastfeeding support in the community or willingness to learn, experienced in leading teams and passion for supporting refugees.
Desired qualifications and experience: Licensed Midwife, IYCF-E experience, experience in humanitarian response, previous refugee response experience, knowledge of the Code of conduct for breastmilk substitute and Operational Guidance for Infant Feeding in Emergencies desired. Knowledge of Greek, Arabic, Farsi, or Kurdish is highly desirable.
