As both Syria and Iraq continue to face the dire effects of prolonged regional conflict, increasing numbers of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and refugees are seeking shelter and safety within and outside of camps throughout Iraq.

There are 62,000 refugees currently in Greece and over half are women and children. The demographics of the population require specialty care regarding infant and young child feeding (ICYF) and support for pregnant and lactating women. Read More.
Breastfeeding is critical to the health and survival of both mother and baby in emergencies. Nurture Project focuses its services around providing young child feeding counseling and support for pregnant and lactating women.
